SAFMC Meeting Update: March 2012

During the week of March 5, 2012 the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council (Council) met in Savannah, GA.   The Council discussed many issues of interest to members of the South Atlantic Fishermen's Association including a voluntary individual fishing quota (VIFQ), a golden crab IFQ, golden tilefish actions, and additional monitoring recommendations for several fisheries.  Topics covered during the meeting can be found at:  www.safmc.net.
