Vermillion Snapper Closing September 28th

The National Marine Fisheries Service Southeast Regional Office has announced that Commercial fishing for Vermillion Snapper will close September 28, 2012 at 12:01am.  This comes after the closure of the Deepwater, Gray triggerfish and Porgy Complexes earlier this month.  Fishermen and their families are preparing for more closures that are expected at the end of the month. SAFA will continue to keep you posted on the latest.
